Cebu Pacific recently announced that they have 16 available slots for aspiring cadet pilots for their “Study now, pay later—zero interest” training program.

The country’s leading carrier said that successful candidates will be sent over to Australia and join the pilot training at the prestigious Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) Campus in Australia.

Applicants who pass the online pre-screening test will continue to the next stages of the selection process – this includes a series of interviews, computer skills examination, medical and psychological tests, and English fluency test.

There is no application fee for the program, but once applicants passed the selection process, the 16 successful candidates will need to undergo an on-site screening and core skill and pilot aptitude test with a fee of Php 19,000 will be charged.

The carrier will shoulder the entire pilot training cost of their 16 scholars and cadet pilots who successfully complete the training are assured of employment with the airline.

Successful candidates will undergo a 52-week or a year of integrated flight training, including skills and learning sessions at Flight Training Adelaide (FTA).

After that, they will also undergo an additional 4 weeks of training here in the country to obtain a pilot’s license under the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
