Three Minutes Marriage: This Woman In Kuwait Ask Judge to Divorced Her Husband After Being Called ‘Stupid’

The success of a marriage is directly related to the thought, time and attention given to the relationship, but the most important building block of all marriages is love and the respect that spouses show toward one another.

This newly wedded couple in Kuwait reportedly got divorced after just three minutes and ended their marriage before even leaving the courthouse they got married in.

It is also believed that their marriage had become the shortest ever in Kuwait’s history, and probably of the whole world.

Q8 News reported that the newlywed couple had just signed their marriage contract in front of a judge when the bride accidentally tripped over and fell on her way out, but instead of helping her, her husband called her ‘stupid’ for slipping.

After being ridiculed, the bride marched straight back the judge who had just married them and demanded a divorce.

Their marriage lasted for only three minutes.

After a few moments, they received the divorce and leave the courthouse they got married in.

The incident went viral and the woman’s action gained a lot of sympathy on social media.

Some people said that she made the right decision as they also believe that it is better to leave a person who acts like that in the beginning, because he might do it again later on.

Here are some comments from netizens:

“If this is how he acts right at the beginning, it’s better to leave him.”

“A marriage with no respect, is a failed one right from the beginning.”

Some also suspected that the bride was just looking for an excuse to get rid of him, which isn’t that far fetched considering Kuwait’s divorce issues.

According to a report, this country’s divorce rate has skyrocketed in recent years, since the Kuwait government started offering financial assistance and loans to newlywed couples.

Many couples are getting married and later on filing for divorce to get these benefits.
