Kapuso actor and Pambansang Bae Alden Richards was known for his generosity and a person who has a heart of gold that gives towards the cause of charities.
It’s no secret that Alden is considered as one of the most bankable actors from the GMA network today and one of the country’s biggest stars.
The 27-year-old actor is well-known and well-loved as the other half of the record-breaking love team AlDub (also known as MaiDen and MaiChard). But aside from his successful showbiz career, Alden is also known by many for doing several charities as his way of giving back for all the blessings he has received.
In fact, Alden Richards and AlDub partner Maine Mendoza were able to raise Php 14 million in October 2015 for their “Tamang Panahon” concert, held at the Philippine Arena. To which the 100% of the proceeds were used to build AlDub Libraries in selected schools of the country.
He revealed during an interview that he had several scholars at different levels, but they do not know that Alden is the one helping to finance their education. He also added that two of his scholars already graduated one finished Accounting and the other, Engineering.
Alden also proves that he is a person who knows where to invest his hard-earned fortune. As a matter of fact, he now owns 2 branches of Concha’s Garden Cafe, one in Tagaytay and the other branch is located in Quezon City. Concha’s Garden Café is a chain of restaurants that serves classic Filipino dishes
Now, the Pambansang Bae is making waves again online after the entertainment columnist Lolit Solis shared on Instagram that he recently built a school for the less fortunate Mangyan children in Mindoro.
Alden wishes that every Filipino child will be able to go to school as he personally experienced how traumatic it was to stop schooling due to some financial difficulties.
