Veteran actress Jean Garcia recently posted a bunch of photos of his son Kotaru Shimizu on social media garnering lots of appreciation and compliments.
However, Jean is still silent about his past relationship with Kotaru’s father.

Recently, Kotaru celebrated his 20th birthday. Along with this event, Jean shared a photo on Instagram with a caption,
“Lots of love to the best son in the world…he turned 16 today! When you came into my life, I was complete. I am a proud parent of an outstanding young man,”
She added on her post, “My greatest gift is watching you become the independent, fearless, responsible and accomplished person you have grown into. Happy birthday my dearest boy! We love you very much,”

Jean opened up that Kotaru’s father is an advertising executive in Japan. According to her, it is not important what Kotaru’s father’s identity is and where he is now.
She explained “Hindi na importante kung ano ang name niya or nasaan man siya,”

The veteran actress shared that she does not receive any financial support from Kotaru’s Japanese father. Jean told that she is contented with her son.
“Ang mahalaga lang sa akin ay nagkaroon kami ng anak and I want to thank him for being the father. Though hindi nga kami talagang nagtagal, still, minahal ko naman siya. Nagmahalan kaming dalawa,” she added.
