Matteo Guidicelli, Erwan Heusaff, and Nico Bolzico took their oath as ‘Coast Guard Auxiliary’ officers of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) 408 squadron.
They were among the four new officers formally inducted into the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) in Puerto Princesa, Palawan last Sunday, March 17.
The PCGA is a service-oriented, uniformed volunteer organization established in 1972 by the Philippine Coast Guard through the Republic Act No. 5173.
This organization is committed to support and promote the “safety of life and property at sea, the protection of the marine environment and its resources, the conduct of maritime search and rescue, the maintenance of aids to navigation, recreational safety and such other activities that enhance maritime community relations.”
On Instagram, PCGA officer and head of Jewelmer Group, Jacques Branellec shared their photos on his account to congratulate and welcome the three celebrities as their newly recruited lieutenant commanders.
“Congratulations to all the newly inducted officers of the Philippines Coast Guard Auxiliary 408 squadron. It was an honor to welcome my brothers to help with the mission of the PCGA to aid in marine environmental protection, marine search and rescue, and youth environmental education. Welcome aboard,” he wrote in the caption of the post.

Meanwhile, the official Facebook group of Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary 116th Squadron also welcomed Matteo Guidicelli, Erwan Heussaff, and Nico Bolzico through a post, “ONWARD WE GO !!! Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary,” they were also addressed as lieutenant commanders.
Prior to them, Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson was the first to be inducted into the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary last February 26.
