After staying in the United States for a couple of months to undergo a series of operations to get her injured right index finger treated, Liza Soberano got the sweetest welcome home from her family and onscreen and real-life partner Enrique Gil.
The 21-year-old actress together with her boyfriend Enrique Gil received a warm welcome home celebration, from Liza’s relatives and friends.
Liza’s index finger injury, which was the result of an accident while taping for her fantaserye “Bagani” in August 2018, also led to her decision in April this year to withdraw from doing the high-profile “Darna” project where she was supposed to portray the titular superhero.
On Instagram, Gideon Hermosa, a popular event’s stylist shared photos taken from the surprise welcome party on his account last Monday.

It can be seen in the photos that her family and friends made sure she felt how much they missed her with a decor of gold and silver balloons cascading strings of the same colors. Petals and Rustic lamps or skyscraper-inspired lamps in different sizes, with some candles inside, were scattered on the floor to provide a cityscape night vibe.
Another photo shows a streamer with cut out letters held up by family and friends that read, “Welcome home, Hopie!”
The young actress also posed for a photo with Enrique while holding a bouquet of sunflowers in the middle of the beautiful setup made for her.
Despite being out of the country for nearly three months, Liza never failed to update her fans and followers about her condition using her social media accounts. She flew out of the country in May for the second operation addressing her finger bone injury. However, the bone didn’t heal from the first operation, that’s why she was advised by the doctors to extend her stay and undergo two more operations.
But now that she’s finally back in Manila, many can’t wait to see the beautiful actress being active in the showbiz scene again!
