Everyone is talking about the new Snapchat face filters that allow people to see versions of themselves as younger and gender-swapped versions of themselves.

That’s why when the 54-year-old veteran actor, Gabby Concepcion discovered the viral Snapchat’s gender swap filter, many netizens were amazed and just can’t get over with the actor’s hilarious transformation as the result looks like none other than her daughter, KC Concepcion.

On May 23, KC Concepcion posted the ‘breaking news’ on her Instagram Stories, which is her father’s gender swap photo.

“My pops @concepciongabby discovered the new snap app that turns guys into girls. The result is basically me,” she wrote.

Followed by a poll question on Instagram, where KC asked her followers who they love more: The Real KC or The Imposter: Gabby.

Over the past few years, Snapchat has grown to become one of the biggest and most popular social media platforms in the world.

The initial version of Snapchat, which was known as Picaboo was created by Evan Spiegel and his co-founder, Bobby Murphy, it was first launched in 2011. Their main goal was to create an application that would help users send photos to their friends that would eventually vanish.

In September 2011, Spiegel and Murphy rebranded the messaging app to Snapchat and added the ability to caption photos, they also relaunched it in the iOS App Store.

This app is primarily used for creating multimedia messages referred to as “snaps”; snaps can consist of a photo or a short video, and can be edited to include filters and effects, text captions, and some drawings.

Based on a report, Snapchat has over 190 million daily active users as of the first quarter of 2019.
