Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla recently shared a glimpse of their lavish celebration of love. The celebrity couple finally got married this month after a year-long engagement.
Family members and guests who have attended their wedding also shared photos of the wedding celebration on social media.
Recently, the 28-year-old Kapamilya actor took to Instagram again to express his deep appreciation and gratitude towards his wife’s parents, Robin Padilla and Liezl Sicangco.
Aljur shared photos of him receiving the blessing of Kylie’s parents that was taken during their wedding ceremony last December 11. He also wrote a heartfelt message for his in-laws for welcoming him to their family and pushing him to be the best man for their daughter.
The Kapamilya actor posted this on his Instagram account last December 21 with this caption:
“Thank you, Papa @robinhoodpadilla and Mama @le1z_zel for welcoming me to your family. For always fighting what’s best for us. That pushed me to be a better man for your own daughter. I feel blessed and grateful to have you as my in-laws. For I’m always in favor of your wisdom, kindness and understanding. I am eager to get to know you more, serve you more and learn from you.”
It’s no secret that Aljur and Kylie’s father, Robin Padilla relationship weren’t smooth-sailing at first.
They were not on good terms, because Kylie’s father had wanted the marriage to come first.
But early this year, the two faced each other to patch things up, with the latter getting his would-be father-in-law’s approval to marry his daughter. After their reconciliation, Robin Padilla has been vocal of his approval of the would-be marriage.
Aljur and Kylie got engaged in January 2017 and welcomed their son, Alas Joaquin in August 2017. The celebrity couple tied the knot last December 11 and their grand wedding was held at Villa Milagros in Rizal.
