From 191lbs to 127lbs, Woman Called as ‘Whale’ Shares Her Inspiring Weight Loss Journey On How She Lose 64lbs
In reality, there are some people who don’t seem to care if what they’re saying hurt other people’s feelings, especially when they teased them and talked about their physical appearance.
This woman had that same experience when she was teased about her weight and appearance. Sarie Santiago used to be called as “whale,” dumbo, a pig and many others because of her almost 200 lbs of weight.
Although Sarie admitted that it was her fault why she became overweight, she came to a point where she got tired of hearing all those names and decided to do something about it.
In a now viral Facebook post, Sarie shared her impressive weight loss journey where she lost 64lbs, going from 191lbs to 127lbs in a span of 8 months.

“Pwera biro para sakin mas masakit yung mga naririnig ko kesa sa mga nakikita ko, Hanggang one day sobrang napagod ako sa mga naririnig ko tulad ng sabihan ka nang mga “Kadiri ang Taba” “Balyena” “Dambo” “Basagin na ang Baboy” “Abat” “Aparador” “JELOUS PIG” at marami pang iba mga (Bweset kayo) Ang Ha-hard niyo! HAHAHA”
“Ayyy medj mahaba na pala yung Intro ko Imsosarieeee! HAHA Ayun na nga nag Gym nga ako daily mga 2 to 4hrs din ako sa Gym kasama na yung pag IG ko dun HAHA! Tapossss nag stop ako sa Rice as in NO RICE ang Vaklangtouh, Mga 8mos. na din akong walang Rice! Every morning umiinom agad ako ng warm water kakain ako ng 1 boiled egg and isang saging na Saba tapos mag ggym na ako after ko mag gym naglalakad lang ako pauwi mga 45 minutes walk! yung lunch ko naman Fish kahit anong fish Janitor ganun HAHAHA Jk. (Fish and Vegetables) and everytime na nagugutom ako kumakain ako ng Skyflakes tapos happy Mani! (Para Happy Lang) HAHAHA and madaming tubig yes madami akong ni-cuts na food Guy’s it’s my Choice! Walang nag sabi na wag ako kumain, Ako yung may gusto nun, then Bago mag 8pm nag di-dinner na ako ng Kamote! Thennnn tubig ulit. Tapos, Tapos naaaaa.”
Based on her post, she would wake up early every day, and immediately drink warm water and eat her breakfast. Then, she would head off to the gym and work out for 2 to 4 hours.
When she’s finished with her intense gym routine, she would opt to just walk home, which would take another 45 minutes.
She also shared that she imposed a very strict diet on herself and revealed that she doesn’t eat rice at all, but she makes sure to eat kamote before 8pm as part of her daily routine.
Now, Sarie is so happy to say that she can wear rocking outfits every day! Isn’t that amazing?
