Brunei’s Handsome and Single Prince Is the New Internet Heartthrob

Meet Prince Abdul Mateen, the handsome fourth son of the Sultan of Brunei who stole the hearts of many women. He is also an active social media user with more than 1.1 million followers on Instagram.

The 27-year-old is the 10th child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and his second wife Mariam Abdul Aziz. He was born in the tiny island nation off the coast of Borneo on August 10, 1991.

Of course, Prince Mateen is not just all about the good looks, he earned his Master’s Degree in Arts from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies before enrolling at the Sandhurst Military Academy in 2010. He is also passionate about playing polo and served as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

Prince Mateen inherited $25.8 billion dollar fortune from his father, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. He is also a bonafide animal-lover, who refers to himself as the ‘father of tigers,’ and love staying at the beach.

When asked about his ideal type of wife, he said.

“I hope my future wife will be a simple and pure person, if I choose her, I will be with her all of my life.”
